Part-Time Social Media Manager & Content Curator
KAPHILL is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager & Content Curator to join our dynamic team. This part-time position will be key in enhancing the brand’s online presence, driving engagement, and curating content that resonates with our community of influential women. As a part of a growing fashion and lifestyle brand, you’ll work closely with the marketing team to shape KAPHILL’s digital strategy and elevate our storytelling across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across Instagram, Pinterest TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Create, schedule, and publish content that aligns with KAPHILL’s brand voice and aesthetic.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, using insights to optimize content and campaigns.
- Respond to comments, direct messages, and engage with the online community to foster relationships and drive interaction.
Content Creation & Curation:
- Curate and create high-quality, on-brand content, including visuals, captions, and short-form videos.
- Collaborate with photographers, influencers, and the creative team to produce compelling content that showcases KAPHILL's products and values.
- Stay on top of industry trends, leveraging new tools, formats, and trends to keep content fresh and engaging.
Campaign Management:
- Support in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and collaborations.
- Coordinate with the team to align social media efforts with broader marketing strategies and brand initiatives.
Community Engagement & Growth:
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, tastemakers, and followers to grow KAPHILL’s digital community.
- Monitor industry and competitor activity to inform KAPHILL’s social media tactics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
- Strong creative skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create engaging content.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and copywriting skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Metricool), graphic design software (Illustrator), and video editing software.
- Knowledge of KAPHILL's brand ethos and commitment to empowering Black women is a plus.
