Executive Assistant (Virtual/Hybrid)

KAPHILL is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the executive team and ensure seamless operations for our growing fashion and lifestyle brand. This flexible position, available as virtual or hybrid, offers the opportunity to contribute to key functions across administration, marketing, business development, and research while ensuring the successful execution of brand initiatives. Occasional in-person attendance at events and meetings with the Founder will be required as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Manage executive calendars and coordinate scheduling across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain digital records and files on Google Drive.
  • Support tax and compliance functions, including tracking and filing quarterly sales tax.
  • Assist with sourcing and managing brand materials, such as packaging supplies.
  • Follow up with external partners, including photographers and models, on required forms and documentation.

Marketing & Customer Engagement:

  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including newsletters and email campaigns.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and manage issue resolution with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Support the development of brand partnerships and sponsorships for events and activations.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitive research to inform brand strategy.

Business Development & Research:

  • Conduct research on potential retail and collaboration opportunities to expand brand reach.
  • Source and evaluate potential manufacturers and partners based on business needs.
  • Coordinate outreach and meetings with key platforms, brands, and stakeholders.
  • Compile and analyze data for sales, website performance, and other relevant metrics.

Event Support:

  • Attend in-person events and meetings with the Founder as necessary, ensuring successful execution and smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in digital tools (Google Suite, project management software, and email marketing platforms).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the fashion, retail, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person events or meetings as required.

Part-Time Social Media Manager & Content Curator

KAPHILL is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager & Content Curator to join our dynamic team. This part-time position will be key in enhancing the brand’s online presence, driving engagement, and curating content that resonates with our community of influential women. As a part of a growing fashion and lifestyle brand, you’ll work closely with the marketing team to shape KAPHILL’s digital strategy and elevate our storytelling across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across Instagram, Pinterest TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content that aligns with KAPHILL’s brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance, using insights to optimize content and campaigns.
  • Respond to comments, direct messages, and engage with the online community to foster relationships and drive interaction.

Content Creation & Curation:

  • Curate and create high-quality, on-brand content, including visuals, captions, and short-form videos.
  • Collaborate with photographers, influencers, and the creative team to produce compelling content that showcases KAPHILL's products and values.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, leveraging new tools, formats, and trends to keep content fresh and engaging.

Campaign Management:

  • Support in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and collaborations.
  • Coordinate with the team to align social media efforts with broader marketing strategies and brand initiatives.

Community Engagement & Growth:

  • Build and nurture relationships with influencers, tastemakers, and followers to grow KAPHILL’s digital community.
  • Monitor industry and competitor activity to inform KAPHILL’s social media tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
  • Strong creative skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create engaging content.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Metricool), graphic design software (Illustrator), and video editing software.
  • Knowledge of KAPHILL's brand ethos and commitment to empowering Black women is a plus.
